Hello friends!! I have missed you!! Happy 2019!!!
I finally have some time to sit down and tell you all about my Holiday Break. I actually took 2 week off. That’s big for me because I never take vacations. With all my jobs its hard for me to take time off but I desperately needed this mini break…2018 was a crazy one. Planning a wedding, teaching full-time, plus all my other side jobs that I love… script reader, blogging, Social Media Coordinator, volunteering at my Church..it takes a tole.
I’m that person that always is on the go, always needing to do something…I noticed it a lot this past year just feeling drained and not always giving it my 110% because I physically & mentally was worn out.
Besides wedding planning I had a lot of family stuff happen so I needed this break. I am feeling rejuvenated and ready for 2019!
So where did I go for my Holiday Break….. Central California! I love visiting my in-laws and I love the “small town” vibe. Los Angeles/Orange County are cities that are always go, go, go.. so it was nice change of pace. Plus I was able to actually spend time with Josh. Christmas season is crazy busy for him at work. Being an Executive Director at a Church he had to oversee all the services for Christmas and at Eastside Christian they had over 15 services among the different campus’. So it was nice to just be with him and spend our first Christmas & New Year’s together as a married couple!
So for Christmas I got a new camera……and I decided to start documenting my days. So I am going to do something a little different and show you all my mini vlogs (2-5mins long). Not saying I am going to vlog all the time but I wanted to change it up a bit. Hope you enjoy!!
Day 8 footage got lost! Well not lost my laptop isn’t working … and I was editing Day 8 on it and all those videos were saved on that computer! But I still have some photos! Josh & I drove to Fresno & went to the Zoo!
Well there you have it friends! As you can see when I am in the Central Valley…I eat A LOT, explore different towns, relax, spend time with family….
I hope you enjoyed! Leave me any comments, would love to hear from you!
Let me know how your New Year is going… I’ll leave you with this quote!
