FRIEZE 2020 TAKES OVER LA LA LAND

Frieze Los Angeles

Another incredible year of forward-thinking Art by over 70 incredible Artists from around the world came together at the Iconic Paramount Studios to showcase their talents at the 2nd annual Frieze Art Fair.

From galleries to projects, Film & Talk-backs, FRIEZE took over Los Angeles over Valentine’s Weekend and I am so glad I was able to experience it once again. A big thank you to the phenomenal curators Rita Gonzalez, Head of Contemporay Art at LACMA, and Pilar Tompkins Rivas, Director of the Vincent Price Art Museum for brining Creatives & Artists together in the City of Angels, the city of hopes & dreams, the city of Art.

You can drive around Los Angeles and find Art almost on every corner. Movie Studios, Architecture, Concert Halls, Art Sculptures, Street Performers, the list goes on. Frieze brings together everyone who loves the freedom to express.

That’s why I love it ART. I need it in my life. Art brings unity, hope, controversy, truth. And I think everyone should be exposed to it because its the one form of connection that’s universal. You can look at an Art piece and feel one thing and someone else might feel something completely different. But its okay because both feelings are valid. Watch a foreign film and you can still understand the story and emotions of the characters. We need more compassion and unity in our world and I truly believe Art can help bring us all together.

Until next year Frieze Los Angeles! Click here https://frieze.com/ to stay updated on the next event or learn about amazing new artists!

Art can transform lives. It gives us the power to question, to confront, to explore, and to challenge how we think about the world.

Art is not always about pretty things. It’s about who we are, what happened to us, and how our lives are affected.
