An evening celebrating some of the female relationships portrayed in theatre. Scenes about; Family, Friends, Love, Mentorship and Self. Plus honoring the importance of live theatre, artistic community and toasting “Community over Competition.”
On Friday March 22, The Art Club had its second Artistic Experience produced by Deus Vult Productions and Directed by Danielle Keaton. Eight talented Artists lit up a packed house on Ventura Blvd. Tears were shed, laughs were loud, and the silences were golden. These Actresses showcased selected scenes from; The Glass Menagerie, I Ought To Be In Pictures, Almost, Maine, & Collected Stories. We also had a special Guest Performance by the extraordinary 17-year-old Singer/Songwriter, Noelle Lidyoff who blew us away with her original song, A Million Little Pieces & her own rendition of Death Cab For Cutie’s, “I’ll Follow You Into The Dark.”
The night was dedicated to Women and the ladies who inspire us in honor of Women’s History Month.
