I can’t believe I’m saying those words! I am so unbelievably happy. After nine years Josh asked me to be his wife! Seriously the best Christmas I’ve ever had. I was totally not expecting it either, so here’s how it happened..
Christmas morning, I went over to Josh’s, where we made pancakes while listening to Christmas music in our Pjs. It was around 11:30 am when we started to exchange presents. The last gift I had to open was a large amazon box, inside of that box was a smaller box and inside that box was the ring. I honestly didn’t think anything when I saw the small box, thought they were earrings or something but when I saw the ring, that’s when I started crying. I couldn’t contain myself, I just started balling and covering my eyes with my hands. Josh started expressing what I meant to him (I’ll be honest, I was in shock so I don’t remember everything he said), the whole time I kept saying, “Is this real, is this real? Are you sure you want to live with this face forever?”. He asked me to stand up, I still was crying and then he asked, “Would you marry me? And I said YES!! A perfect proposal that I will never forget.
Here are the pictures I took right after!
So I guess you all are wondering when the wedding is? Well, to be quite honest, I am not sure. I definitely want it to be small, with my close friends and family. Personally I’d rather spend money on a house or honeymoon rather than a one day event. Also Josh & I are going to have to fund it ourselves and man weddings are expensive!!
So I will keep you updated on wedding plans and in the meantime if you have any suggestions on inexpensive venues in the LA/OC area or any wedding suggestions leave me some comments. I was even thinking of an airbnb in LA with an amazing view. I am not very good at planning so I would love to have all your input!
Wishing you all the best this coming year. I hope 2018 brings you lots of joy, love, success and anything else you are hoping for. Thank you for subscribing to my blog and going on this journey with me.
Love each and every one of you!
One last thing…. I’m getting married!!!!
